1. Service Provider
HinausSuomi is an online service operated by KV Collective Oy.

These Terms of Use apply to the use of the hinaussuomi.fi website and its search functions, maps, company profiles and other features.
2. Purpose of HinausSuomi
HinausSuomi brings together information about towing and roadside assistance companies operating in Finland and helps users find a service provider suited to their situation and location.
The service is free of charge for consumers. HinausSuomi does not currently accept towing or roadside assistance requests or charge users for towing services.
3. Role of HinausSuomi
HinausSuomi operates as a search and map service presenting towing and roadside assistance companies.
HinausSuomi does not itself provide towing or roadside assistance services and is not a party to any towing or roadside assistance agreement between a user and a company presented on the service.
When a user contacts a towing company through HinausSuomi, any service agreement is concluded directly between the user and the towing company concerned. Each towing company independently determines matters including:
- service availability
- estimated arrival time
- service prices and payment methods
- any additional charges
- the specific content of the service
- its own contractual and cancellation terms.
HinausSuomi cannot accept a service request on behalf of a towing company and cannot guarantee that a company displayed on the service will be able to accept the request.
4. Prices and Insurance Coverage
HinausSuomi does not determine the prices charged by towing or roadside assistance companies. Where reasonably possible, the user should agree on the price of the service or the basis on which the price will be calculated directly with the selected company before the work begins.
The user is responsible for determining whether their insurance covers the requested service and whether the insurance company requires the use of a particular service provider or prior approval.
HinausSuomi does not guarantee that the user will receive insurance compensation.
5. Location, Map and Search Results
The service may use a location provided by the user or location data shared with the browser by the user’s device to display nearby towing services. Sharing location data is voluntary.
A company’s location shown on the map may be based on the address of its business premises. It does not necessarily indicate the real-time location of a tow truck or the location from which the company’s available tow truck will depart.
The term “nearest towing service” is based on the company and location information available on the map. It does not constitute a promise that the company will arrive fastest or that it is actually the nearest available provider at the time of contact.
Search results and company visibility may be affected by the area selected by the user, the available location data, the service information provided by the company and any paid enhanced visibility purchased by the company from HinausSuomi. Paid visibility does not mean that HinausSuomi guarantees or recommends the company’s services as being better than those of other companies.
6. Accuracy of Company Information
HinausSuomi aims to keep the company names, addresses, telephone numbers, service areas, opening hours and other information presented on the service as up to date as reasonably possible.
However, this information may change without HinausSuomi being notified immediately. Some information is based on details provided by the companies presented on the service or on publicly available information.
Where necessary, the user should verify the following information directly with the towing company:
- the company’s on-call service and availability
- the company’s actual location or point of departure
- estimated arrival time
- service area
- prices and payment methods
- whether the company’s equipment is suitable for the vehicle concerned
- any other information relevant to the requested service.

7. Emergencies
HinausSuomi is not a public authority or an emergency service.
If the situation involves personal injury, fire, immediate danger or an accident that endangers traffic, the user must call the emergency number 112 and follow the instructions given by the authorities.
The user must take reasonable steps to protect their own safety and the safety of others and, where possible, move to a safe location while waiting for assistance.
8. Use of the Service
The service may only be used for lawful purposes. Users must not:
- interfere with the operation of the service
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service or its systems
- distribute malicious software or code through the service
- use the service to communicate false or misleading information
- collect content from the service through automated means without HinausSuomi’s permission
- copy or use the service’s content for unauthorised commercial purposes.
HinausSuomi has the right to prevent misuse of the service and take any necessary measures to protect the service, its users and the companies presented on it.
9. Availability and Changes to the Service
HinausSuomi aims to keep the online service available with as few interruptions as reasonably possible. However, the service may experience interruptions or errors caused by maintenance, technical faults, network connections, third-party services or other circumstances.
HinausSuomi has the right to develop, modify, restrict or remove features of the service. HinausSuomi does not guarantee that the service or all companies and features presented on it will be continuously available.
10. Liability
HinausSuomi is responsible for the operation of its own online service in accordance with applicable law.
The towing and roadside assistance companies presented on the service are separate and independent businesses. Each company is responsible for its own services, operations, personnel, equipment, pricing, information provided and agreements concluded with customers.
HinausSuomi is not responsible for an independent service provider’s:
- quality of work or the outcome of the service
- pricing or invoicing
- arrival time or delays
- service availability
- damage that may be caused to a vehicle or other property
- information or promises provided to the customer.
Any complaint concerning the actual towing or roadside assistance service must be submitted directly to the company that provided the service.
Nothing in these Terms of Use limits any liability of HinausSuomi that cannot be limited under mandatory provisions of applicable law.
11. Third-Party Websites and Services
HinausSuomi may contain links or connections to websites, map services, telephone services or other services provided by third parties.
Third-party service providers are responsible for the content, operation, privacy practices and terms of use of their own services. HinausSuomi does not control third-party services.
12. Intellectual Property Rights
The HinausSuomi name, trademarks, logo, website design, texts, images, map-related implementations and other content produced by HinausSuomi belong to KV Collective Oy or their separately identified rights holders.
The content may be used as necessary for the normal use of the HinausSuomi service. Copying, publishing, modifying, reselling or otherwise commercially exploiting the content without the permission of the relevant rights holder is prohibited.
The names, logos and other identifiers of companies presented on the service belong to the companies concerned or their respective rights holders.
13. Personal Data and Cookies
HinausSuomi processes personal data as described in its Privacy Policy. Information about the use of cookies and similar technologies is provided separately in the website’s cookie settings and Cookie Policy.
The Privacy Policy is available on the HinausSuomi website.
14. Changes to These Terms of Use
HinausSuomi may update these Terms of Use due to changes in the service, its operating model or applicable legislation.
The current Terms of Use and their effective date will be published on this page. Any changes will apply to use of the service taking place after the changes enter into effect.
15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of Finland.
Any dispute concerning HinausSuomi’s own online service should primarily be resolved through negotiations between the user and KV Collective Oy. Users may contact HinausSuomi at [email protected].
Where necessary, consumers may contact the Finnish Consumer Advisory Services. If the matter cannot be resolved through negotiations, the consumer may refer the matter to the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board.
Consumers also have the right to bring the matter before a competent court in accordance with the mandatory provisions of applicable law.
